See the post above yours, for the mains you insert a steel rod thru the knee and use that as your jack point.

I just bought a 1946 415-C.  Is it correct to say that there are no hardpoints on the aircraft to allow you to properly jack it up?  Other aircraft I have owned had hardpoints under the wings for this purpose.

It is covered in the service manual, for the mains you can put a steel rod thru the main gear pivot and lift with a jack. For the nose you can place bags of sand on the horizontal and weigh the tail down.

Hello, My new tires have arrived, but the Ercoupe is new to me, and am wondering what the best method is to get wheels raised off the ground to get the wheels off?
Thanks,
Bob J.
