And now almost two months later it is back but occurs under different conditions!
Over the weekend it started doing it on landing rollout only on pavement. It is smooth on takeoff but almost as soon as the nose drops on landing it vibrates until speed is down around 25-30.

I should have also mentioned that we changed all the nutcracker hardware as well.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago - my cure, suggested by my favorite A&P, was to replace the bolt that secured the angle of the nutcracker, the V shaped contraption, on the aft side of the nosewheel mount. The old bolt, perhaps original, was visibly worn; the replacement with a new bolt cured the situation. Beats me why, but it is hard to argue with its success! Good luck!

In my personal case, tightening the nut cracker helped, as did keeping the nose tire pressure around 18-20 pounds, but it wasn't totally cured until the nose gear assembly was rebuilt. There were worn bearings in it. My A&P/IA is also a Director with many years experience on the 'Coupe, so if the easy things don't work, find an experienced A&P who can help you.
