Thanks for the information! I guess when I start shopping I should keep an out for the documentation that a field approval was granted.

Doesn't matter about the engine as long as the paper work doesn't increase the weight above 1320 pounds - limit for LSA.

PS My 415C has a 0-200 but the approved field approval and weight increase STC kept the weight at 1320 pounds.

Hey everyone,
I have another honest question... can an Ercoupe 415-C or -CD be considered LSA eligible if it has a C-90 engine? I have scoured the documentation, but haven't seen anything that supports this. I ask because I have seen a few Ercoupes for sale that advertise that they're 415-Cs and are LSAs.
