Aerospace welding here in the Twin Cities should be able to get the mount straightened out. Used them for mounts and exhausts.

Engine Mount was created by Chris Carlisle
I know there are lots of approved shops for inspecting and re-certifying engine mounts but I'm wondering if anyone's had experience with a particular one with good or bad results?. Mine looks structurally fine but at some time in the plane's life, there was a hard landing and the tubes that lead down to the sleeve that holds the nosewheel strut were damaged. It appears that the 'field repair' that took place (probably a Sears stick welder) left the strut ever so slightly canted so that it's out of alignment and pulls to the left on the ground. The side loads on the strut caused undue wear on the brass bushings and seals so that I'm having it rebuilt to the tune of about $350 in parts and 2-3 hours of shop time. All well spent, but I'd like to fix the problem for good.
