If you are talking about a real O-200 and not a C-85 rebuilt with O-200 parts... then I would highly recommend a DCM 6950. I fly a 415-C with a real O-200. It is a wonderful combo. Many Ercoupe O-200 installs were incorrectly steered to a 6948. The 6948 is too low or flat and will cause over-reeving when the engine id broken in. The STC owner from the 70s sent documentation indicating the over-rev situation and recommend a 6950.

My experience is that the square-tipped McCauleys (I can't remember A or are better than the round-tipped ones. If you want to get the RPMs up, make sure the engine is set up right, then go to a flatter prop. 71 seems too long for an O-200 I'd go with a 69. Maybe go down to a 48 or 49 pitch. Bet you could hit redline then.
Maybe someone with an O-200 can give you wiser advice!

Need info on using McCauley DCM 6948, 6950 or 6952 with O-200 camshaft. Also, anyone using the Sensenich 69CK-0-52L or other pitch successfully on O-200?
With original CM 7150 we are only able to get it to 2500. Would like to get it up to 2750.
