Jeff, that is to keep the panel study so the weight of the instr. will not move and vibrate. If you hang your radio tight it would work the sameway I would think!

Don't know about the mount, but I see fuel drips on the bottom of the header tank.

Is this brace factory or add on? I’m planning a panel mount com installation and this may be in the way. It’s a 46 Ercoupe
