I do have the stromberg, I have read that, but would it be leaking so much that a puddle would form in less than a minute. My tank would be empty in an hour or so for sure. It hasn’t been leaking at all until after this past flight.

you did not say what carb you have, but it is common on stromberg carbs. I just shut mine off with the fuel valve. there are a number of pages on the web about leaking strombergs.

Fuel leak (from carb?) was created by Mitch Muehlenfeld
I am 99 percent sure the leak I have is from the carb. I got back from a 2 hour night flight (nothing out of the ordinary The entire flight). Landed and was pushing the plane back and I noticed a pretty rapid drip of fuel coming from the bottom of the cowling. I opened the cowling up and fuel was leaking quickly from down the bottom of the carb. Probably would fill a 16 oz glass every minute. I turned the nose tank cut off and 15 seconds later the drip stopped. Nothing was wrong the entire flight. Any idea what my issue is?
