Gordie,
As we talked about, it would be so cool to land on the same runway that the shuttles landed on. From what I was told, the space center even takes your picture as you are on approach with a shuttle in the background.
I have started the inquiry process with the Kennedy Space Center and Space Florida to see if it is possible for an Ercoupe flight.
My inquiry is being sent up the ladder.
We'll see if it goes anywhere.

In talking with a friend today, it seems the Quiet Birdmen had a fly in at Kennedy Space Center, landing on the Shuttle runway. I would have no clue how to go about arranging an event like that but it would be really neat to have a hundred coupes show up for an event like that. Anyone know more than I do about it?
