Ercoupe Service Memorandum #49, (AD 54-26-02)?

According to the SM, the part that obviates the need for loosening the cables for inspection is 415-52122. Oddly, Univair lists the quadrant it sells under that number, but when the part arrived (for me, anyway) it had a different number on it, but I can’t remember what it was. From the stories I’ve heard, those cables fray quickly on the old quadrant. I’d say your A&P should look at those cables every year. A failure would be catastrophic!
