My Forney F-1 with a C-90 has the oil filler on the starboard (right) side, having had the 4 quart tank replaced with a 6 quart model. The cowling has a filler door on the port (left) side of the cowling - no longer used... LOL! - so take your pick.

My C85 is on the right. Yes, close to the exhaust stack, but not a problem except dribbles of oil get on it and you smell burnt oil afterwards. Not overly hot when doing enroute checks. BUT, it
would be more convent when doing checks if both it and gascolator were on the same side.

My original C-75 had the filler on the left. I acquired another C-75 engine
and its filler is on the right. Having the filler on the left has easy access.
The right filler is by Cylinder 1 exhaust pipe making hot engine oil checks
uncomfortable..

depends on the tank, the one on my C90 is on the left, I have another tank for a C90 and it is on the right.

My 415C with a C-75 has the oil filler on the left side. That engine is now a C-85. I’ve seen similar aircraft with the filler on the right side. I don’t know how they came from the factory.

Oil Tank Filler was created by John Farrell
Can the oil tank filler on a C-75 engine be either on the starboard or port side of the engine? My previous 415E with C-85 engine the oil filler was on the port side. I just looked at a 415 C with a C-75 engine and the filler oil cap was on the opposite (Starboard) side.
