There is a camshaft for a 90 HP engine on e-bay($399)---643067. It was overhauled by Aircraft specialties Service in Tulsa OK. If this is not the one for your Alon engine,call this shop;

I think that the camshaft for the 90 HP Alon is the same one for a 100HP c. 0200?

Dear Grover,

I am sorry that I cannot help you, as I was unable to help myself.

Searching high and low, I was unable to find the correct camshaft.

My only alternative is to try and have my camshaft overhauled and
assuming this can be done, reinstall it. I am afraid that this is probably
your only course of action.

By the way, most likely you will have had problems with the tappets. At least
these are easy to find and replace.

I am looking at buying a 1966 Alon A2. There is a question about the camshaft making metal in the filter at annual. What happened to your camshaft and how many hours did the engine have on it. How did you know you had a bad camshaft?
