Group Fly-in to Air Venture?

Sure liked that Wausau airport. A few days there and then flying in as group is good for me. Besides, Syd lives there. I like going up and over along the upper peninsula of Michigan. Flying down to the south of Lake Michigan and round Chicago airspace would be no fun. High adventure would be climbing up to about 8500 ft and flying across the lake at about Ludington Michigan, keeping the Lake Michigan Car Ferry below for just in case. About 55 miles across around there. Life jacket required for sure. Got to fly in this year, just burned up the engine in class A motorhome Sunday coming back from Florida,  Sent it to the salvage yard, sad day.

I would be interested to know, as well. I'm hoping to make it from North Dakota to Oshkosh. I'd also like to meet up and fly in with a group. It will be my first time to Oshkosh, so I think going in with a group would be helpful.

I would think that we would all meet up in Watertown, WI and fly in as a group from there. As Larry mentioned, Syd is good at getting everything setup and ready for the arrival into the show. See everybody there.

I think you’re asking about a group meet up immediately before OSH then a mass fly in to OSH, like this year.

I haven’t heard of any. Maybe talk to your regional EOC leader.
