Doing some research and found with update of some fuel lines that these tanks are compatible.

Header tank question was created by Keith Carden
As posted earlier, my header tank in my 46 is weeping. I went to look at a "parts plane" today, a 46 Ercoupe that was built same month as mine.
Looking at my tank the shut off valve and the other 2 fuel lines come out at the left (as looking forward) back on the bottom of the tank. On the plane I looked at today, the shut off valve comes out on the back left bottom but the other 2 lines come off the back of the tank about mid point between the top and bottom of tank.
Other than moving of fuel lines, would these thanks be compatible? The tank in the "parts plane' looks to be in MUCH better shape and I can get it for about 300 bucks, but I am just not sure if they are compatible. Simple logic tells me they would be but sometimes the things that seem simple have hidden surprises!
I have pictures to post if it helps,
thanks much, I appreciate any guidance here.
