I do the S turns as I taxi out and check aileron deflection.

Good question. I just give the ailerons a wiggle after run-up, but that's not testing for full travel.

Hi All,
When checking that controls are free and correct as is normal for all airplanes,
what is the best method for the Ercoupe? Mine has rudder pedals, but the yoke it still connected to the nosewheel, so the way I check the ailerons is to do 'S' turns while I taxi.
Does anyone else do it differently or have another method?
Thanks
