Thanks, Matt. I suppose the seats and sides have to be removed from the interior to gain access to the side windows...

You can make your own side windows, they are sheet plexi or lexan. it might be tight either because it is too wide or it is installed in the channel wrong.

ERCOUPE 415C - Side canopy window travel was created by Robert Eldridge
Hi, I'm new to the world of Ercoupes, so please forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question.  I just bought a '46C - REALLY nice airplane!  However the canopy side windows are a bit scratched and VERY hard to slide up and down.  I know I can get new window glass from Univair, but how do I reduce the amout of "significant" force required to allow the windows to slide up and down more easily?  Thanks in advance
