it is a aileron trim, it is installed just above the floor on the centerline of the aircraft, SM54 covers the install in a 415C & CD, it is kit SK20

mine has it, seems to work better one direction than the other, I am planning on replacing the springs and checking the install, there is a SB covering it, and I have the original drawing.
