Yes, that's what my FAA inspector thinks also.
Then I am close to order the ECT204. There are several options for the probes. Do you know which ones I shall order for the M10's C90?
- EGT: 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" clamp or weld-on bayonet?
- CHT: 12, 14, 18mm ring or bayonet?
Thanks!
Laurent.

I'd suppose because he had no idea of the history of things, but was simply looking at the documentation and taking it literally.

Thanks for your replies.
@Mike: that comforts me in my idea that there is a mistake in Aerospace Logic's AML.
- Univair Type Certificate : "Ercoupe 415-D, E, F, G, Forney F-1, F-1A, Alon A-2, A-2A, Mooney M-10"
- Aerospace Logic's AML : "Univar (sic) 415-D, E, G, F-1, F-1A, A-2, A2-A, M1" !
Then why did Aerospace answer my mechanics that "The M-10 is not on our AML as there were so few of them made"...?

I too have an EI unit but it's the EC-1 with 4 channel selector so it doesn't have the nice graphic display but does do all 4 cylinders. Their CGR-30 is what I would look at for the graphic, but it's more $$$ than your considerations.

In the US, the Electronics International UBG16-4 is STCed into the M10. Look under Univair, not Mooney. I have one in my 690001 M10 and it works fine.

Look at our type certificate which covers all models from 415-D to the M10. You can find it on the univair website. Earlier, I said it included the 415-C/D, but that is incorrect.
