Jack, what a toy you have...Spring gear are labor free almost.. You want to get in the habit of looking them over for the sign of cracks. Wheel alignment once in a while. Only problem I have heard of were Alon5644F broke a bolt on landing. An a young Lady up in Oregon broke the left gear M!0 2000/1

I do not have wheel pants, but I do have fairings on the 4 seat Alon I am restoring. And I have never flown with the spring steel gear any advise on it.

When I was flying Alon 44F 16 years ago I was to late to get a set.. That was the only set of spring gear fairings I've ever seen. Hope you find some.

M-10 Wheel Pants was created by Gordie Meade
My M-10 is an early one and has the spring gear, not the trailing link gear. I would like to put on wheel pants to improve both the aerodynamics and the appearance. I have seen pants on the M-10 but no one seems to know anything about them. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get started?
