Mine is a C90-16F. It has a McCauley 7153 prop. I was thinking about trying a Sensenich 7153 since the McCauley is the original 1967 prop and design has improved some since then. Anyone using a Sensenich on a C85 or C90?

I'm almost at sea level, and with the 71/53 I get 2375 static. In the dead of summer with density altitude of 2800 feet (field is 225) and the canopy cracked open, I get about 4-500 fpm. In the winter with the canopy closed and density altitude of 1200 feet, I get 7-800 fpm.
Others would know better than I would but 2350 with that prop seems pretty anemic.

Hi Gordie:
My static rpm is 2350 with the 71/46. Although I think this is a climb prop, my climb performance is terrible. I take off on a grass strip, and know this slows me down. Does you 71/53 give you a good climb??
Thanks
