Seat belts are an easy swap. Installing the brackets for shoulder harnesses would be more challenging for me based on my more limited skill set. I’m suppose to get mine installed this week.
Actually, they were suppose to be installed during the 10 months my AP had it going a bunch of other stuff. But he forgot. And I’ve been waiting since February for him to get it done.

We had it installed during restoration
But I believe as a pilot you can install seatbelts yourself
It was simply a matter of swapping the car style belt with the new harness

Wow - just the $131, or did that also cost an arm or a child, to get permission?? If it is iffy to respond, I'll understand! Thanks, Steve

There's a copy of an approved 337 for a 4-point harness in the FILES section of the "Ercoupe Owners & Enthusiasts" Facebook page. It might be on this site, also. It creates a V-shaped riveted place to connect the harnesses to. It's a lot better than the harnesses on the PT-22 Harrison Ford crashed - the harnesses were attached to a thin piece of aluminum with a single bolt!
