Is the chain he mentions at 2:45 really necessary? It seems like it would be noisy and that it would hang down low close to the tire and potentially could get caught up on a bolt head or something.
Is the wheel falling off an issue? Seems like both snap rings failing would be unlikely but I am not an AP/IA.

Hello , Do I service the strut with 5606 the usual way by getting the air bubbles out of the strut, or do I simply add 5606 to the strut without doing any of that? Thanks.

Can anyone recommend someone who can rebuild/overhaul a Ercoupe Model 415 forked nose gear strut - hopefully close to Livermore CA? It was rebult once before but still leaks so I would like a specialist to take a look at it.
