There's been some confusion about the difference between subscribing and renewing to the EOC.

Subscribing is what you do when you first sign up to a specific type of membership plan. There are several to choose from, depending on whether you want a printed copy of the newsletter, live out of the US, or wish to be a lifetime member.

Renewing is what you do when you're already a member and want to continue the type of membership you have.
